Sometimes that’s one of the most powerful things you can say to yourself.

It covers acknowledgement of your reality and an acceptance that like it or not, pain is sometimes an inevitable consequence of being human

The attitude of acceptance is part of bringing mindfulness into daily life.

It isn’t passive. It’s an active, conscious decision to be with what is, and focus attention and energy on what is under your control.
